sleep on the dark
wake to the light
eat up your dreams
with sugar and spoon
when your weight comes crashing down
enough of strain (the weight of the moon)
when all that's beneath you is feather
and dust; when all that ensnares is
tangled in rust
you sleep
you dream
you become
a
little
less
machine
you give
you love
eat up your dreams.
